Eighteenth Century Sea Power
Towards the end of the 18th century, Russia, after Great Britain, possessed the world’s second largest navy. As well as writing about those two navies I have also looked at the Ottoman navy of that period alongside some of the smaller and forgotten navies of the world, taking a particular interest in the navy of Mysore that posed a very real threat to the British presence in India.
